Description
At Mantigno, near Palazzuolo sul Senio, some important finds have been made since late 1992 that suggest the area must once have been a cemetery area. During the first essay, an Etruscan burial with grave goods was identified. The artifacts were arranged according to four categories: weapons, impasto pottery, personal items and banqueting trousseau: artifacts these are all on display today at the Upper Mugello Archaeological Museum in Palazzuolo. In the present showcase we preserve, however, some minor finds such as a fragmented olla, that is, a kind of pot of the period, and a bowl.
