Description
The finds marked with number 16 are buccheroid or impasto buccheroid vessels. They were probably intended for an alphabetized patron, given the presence of inscriptions. Such inscriptions were also found on firing waste from the kiln. This detail leads us to think that the inscriptions were drawn before the firing of the vessels, thus to a patronage that was certainly not casual. It still seems difficult, however, to determine whether it was local or external.
