Description

Ezio Cozzi, a cyclist of the 1920s, had the track as his strong point in 1927 he also won the Italian independent championship. At the end of his sporting career, he opened a fine artisan workshop in Florence where he also made walking bicycles. His bicycles with their unmistakable yellow color were prized for the quality of their finish. In 1947 he set up a professional team the Cozzi-Silger , with riders such as Roggi and Primo Volpi . In the early 1950s he tried to make his fortune by emigrating to Argentina, did not get the result he hoped for and returned to Italy in the 1960s and reopened a small store in Piazza San Paolino, where he continued to make bicycles until late in life .
