Description

Bicycle that belonged to Mario Rosi, a great cycling enthusiast and Florentine racer. He was a great admirer of the Legnano for which he worked most of his life, in the Florence dealership . He competed and won races in cyclo cross and of the track meetings in anticipation of the 1934 and 1935 Tuscany Tours , he also wore the jersey of the National Team. He was an eclectic rider who was able to compete in several specialties . The vehicle displayed here has been updated over the years, Mario Rosi in fact never stopped using it even after the end of his career . The frame is of late 1950s production , mounts Campagnolo 3-speed gearbox and new record derailleur . Many other components belong to the 60s , such as the Campagnolo multiplier without wedges , the Universal center-pull brakes appeared in '61 and the handlebar stem with the recess , which came out in the 70s , before it was fixed with the external nut .
