Description

Bianchi Firenze is a Florentine company founded in 1904 by Giuseppe Bianchi. It devoted itself to the production of bicycles until the second half of the 1940s, when the two partners, Bianchi Enzo and Tosi Arrigo, created the BETA brand, an acronym of the initials of their names, and devoted themselves to the production of motorcycles. The company is still active today in the off-road field where it dominates the world scene ahead of more renowned brands such as: KTM, Honda, Suzuki etc.. The bike on display here has undergone several upgrades over the years, such as the pipette, but it mounts a beautiful Vittoria first edition gearbox. The Vittoria of the Nieddu brothers, had the sole purpose of tensioning the chain; to make the gear change, the rider had to get off, move the lever and remove tension from the chain , shift it to the desired ratio and get back on the saddle
