Description

The "Nymph" holding a fish decorates one of the pools that compong ono the spectacular "Artichoke Fountain." The work is accompanied by a " Satyr" holding a dolphin. Both sculptures were rebuilt almost entirely, in lime and marble dust, in 1908; the original sculptur e was probably by Domenico Pieratti (Medri 2003, p. 147, no. 29; SBAP, f. 234)
