Description
The "Putto sopra un delfino" was made by Felice Palma; the sculptor was paid for the work on October 4, 1620 (Capecchi 2008, p. 70; ASF, Scrit toio delle Regie Possessioni, f. 2516). The putto originally decorated the Isola basin and in 1642 was placed in the Fontana del Carciofo (Ca pecchi 2008, p. 70; ASF, Scrit toio delle Regie Possessioni, 2516, c. 221, c. 250)
