Description
It is a 19th-century plaster statuette of the "Baby Jesus" popularly known as "The Wounded Child." The statue was found in the rubble of the rectory after the bombings in 1945. Mutilated and damaged in several parts, it is preserved as a symbol of reconstruction and rejection of war.
