Description
This is one of the masterpieces preserved in the church: the wooden Saint Sebastian by sculptor Baccio da Montelupo. Subjected to a recent restoration, the sculpture also shows some reintegrated parts in evidence. The work is part of a series of wooden sculptures made for the friars of the Ss.ma Annunziata by Baccio in 1506 and destined for the abbey of San Godenzo.
